Essentially, there are only three ';types:'; conventional, FHA and VA. Fannie Mae and Freddie MAc buy mortgages - they don't orginate them.How do I find out what type of home mortgage I have?
You might want to look at the contract and/or call the agency that you have the mortgage with.
